The KwK 37 was a 3.7 cm caliber anti-tank gun developed by Germany in the late 1930s and used during World War II. It was widely used by the German army and was considered to be a highly effective weapon against Allied tanks at the beginning of the war. It was mounted on various German tanks and armored vehicles as well as on towed carriages. The KwK 37 had a maximum effective range of around 2,000 meters, and could penetrate up to 40 mm of armor at close range. Although it became less effective as Allied tanks became more heavily armored, it remained in service until the end of the war and was also deployed by other countries such as Romania and Italy.
